JCI sounds like second-tier or even third-tier majors in a first-tier university. Is that true?
Chongqing University is a key undergraduate university (currently: a “Double First-Class A” University), and JCIers are part of the CQU annual enrollment quota, hence entitled to the same status of the key undergraduate university. From enrollment to graduation, all JCI’s teaching resources are well provided by CQU. At the same time, students enjoy all school policy benefits, including scholarship applications, recommendations of distinctive students and students for further studies.
Are the graduation certificates and degree certificates of JCI the same as those of Chongqing University?
Qualified graduates of JCI received bachelor degrees from both UC and CQU. CQU(graduation certificates, degree certificates) and UC’s (degree certificates) certificates are the same as other students of the same major in the two universities (five-year length of schooling) (Note: All universities in the United States have only degree certificates).
Classes are taught in English, can students keep up?
JCIers may face some challenges in English-taught programs, but JCI has corresponding teaching arrangements, such as offering special courses to focus on training English and strengthening English proficiency. At the same time, UC teaching assistants and JCIers study and live together, which effectively helps them. In a word, JCIers will adapt to the study after hard work.
Where do JCI students take classes?
In the first four years, like engineering students in CQU, freshmen and sophomores are in the Huxi Campus and juniors (year 3-4) are in Campus A. In the last year they will fly to UC in the United States to study.
